do:The Capital Management team is part of the Balance Sheet
Management function within Corporate Treasury. We are looking for a
Senior Treasury Analyst to help guide the firm in its journey
towards becoming a $100B+ LFI bank.What we are looking for:
- Consolidate forecast inputs, provide effective challenge and
controls to help ensure data accuracy.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of
forecasting tools for regulatory capital, on and off-balance sheet
risk-weighted assets for both BAU and stress testing applications.
Develop detailed attribution analysis to inform management and
Board of drivers of capital trends. Perform detailed variance
analysis/backtesting to enhance forecasting performance.
- Enhance, and assist with implementation of stress testing
frameworks.
- Support the development of the annual capital plan, stress
testing, and monitoring of capital targets/limits.
- Assist with the analysis of capital structure options in
concert with overall strategic objectives and capital allocation
analysis.
- Implement requisite controls for firm-wide stress testing.
- Assist in the analysis, development, and reporting of
capital-related risk limits and early warning indicators.
- Partner closely with other teams in Corporate Treasury such as
Liquidity Management, ALM, Investments teams as well as Internal
Audit, Model Risk, and Risk Management. Work with FP&A to
incorporate the latest forecasts into capital projections. Engage
with Regulatory Reporting to ensure capital positions are in
alignment.
- Update and maintain processes documentation and document newly
developed processes.
- The candidate will be key member of a team responsible for the
firm's capital management including forecasting and firm-wide
capital management frameworks. The candidate will work closely with
various lines of business and their teams. The ideal candidate
should have Treasury or finance/banking experience, project
management, analytical and strong communication skills.Specific
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining several processes related to capital management and
capital stress testing.
- Partnering effectively with key stakeholders from first, second
and third lines of defense.
- Assist the team in enhancing and overseeing implementation of
regulatory capital and risk-weighted asset forecasting.
- Assist Capital Management team in innovation, development and
sustainability of the capital management function with the goal of
being compliant with LFI requirements over time.
- Monitoring firmwide and legal entity capital positions.
- Assist in preparation of presentations to various committees
and the Board of Directors.Qualifications
- 2+ years of Treasury or finance/banking industry
experience
- Experience working at an LFI firm ($100B+) or business
consulting firm preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics,
Economics or related discipline preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong, clear and concise written and verbal communication
skills and contribute to executive level presentations
- Strong ability to work collaboratively
- Advanced excel knowledge preferred
- Experience with balance sheet and P&L forecasting
preferred
- Knowledge of banking regulations preferredBenefits you'll
