As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care to patients based on the nursing process and patient needs. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating care planning with other disciplines and supervising other healthcare employees to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care.Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
• Acts as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
• Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
• Participates in hourly rounding and observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
• May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervises other members of the healthcare team.Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
