Senior Manager, Talent & Career Development will have company-wide
responsibilities and oversight for key talent processes that help
support development and retention of our employees.--PRINCIPAL
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies best practices and drives continuous improvement to
elevate talent development solutions.
- Provides strategic direction, leadership and execution of
enterprise-wide talent development initiatives.
- Plans, designs and maintains a full suite of developmental
experiences to strengthen individual growth across the
organization.
- Oversees and provides tools, training and resources for annual
talent processes including talent, mid-year and performance
reviews.
- Leverages organizational talent results to:o Identify and
address organizational talent gapso Inform leadership development
focus areaso Maintain internal talent poolso Proactively provide
internal applicants for open positionso Inform high-potential
program participation
- Provides input and support for annual succession planning
processes and provides ongoing input to leadership when new
leadership positions become available.
- Uses data to evaluate and track the effectiveness of current
talent development programs and recommends/implements enhancements
and new initiatives as appropriate.
- Provides input and support to the departmental budget
process.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or
apparent.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing annual talent processes, including
Performance and Talent Review processes.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex and ambiguous business
problems leveraging data analysis and modeling.
- Big picture thinker who anticipates future trends and
articulates data-based recommendations.
- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple,
competing projects and priorities simultaneously.--Demonstrated
excellence in effective delegation and decision-making
abilities.--
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency to overcome obstacles and
achieve measurable results.
- Experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing
operational improvements through automation and process redesign to
enable scalability and velocity.--
- Demonstrated ability to interact easily with all levels within
the organization with a high level of collaboration and influencing
skills.
- The ability to conduct business with little direction and work
in an autonomous manner; this includes the ability to be a
self-starter and utilize a proactive approach to achieve
results.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development,
or Organizational Development.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, with increasing
responsibility in developing, implementing, and managing programs
